July 2003 at Cottonwood Pass, near Buena Vista Colorado, after hiking over to a snow field which made an excellent natural wine chiller.
The Hog Island Oyster Farm in July 2012 – located on Tomales Bay just north of Pt. Reyes California – the oysters paired nicely with Domain Carneros Brut.
August of 2009, just after Steve retired, The Empress Hotel in Victoria British Columbia serves an excellent High Tea, and Sparkling wine goes very well with it.
September 2003 at the Lake Quinault Lodge on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington – wonderful setting to enjoy a glass of wine, some great ones from Washington; and the Martinis there were great as well.
The Just Inn, B & B at Justin Winery near Paso Robles, November 2002.
